Michael Hammond, DP

I’ve worked on a wide array of commercials, marketing films, brand pieces and short films - sometimes as a one-man show, and other times as the head of camera teams. My clients have included those in the fashion, education, lifestyle, tech, medical, and military industries including Mercedes, Prudential, The New York Philharmonic, GANT, GUESS, Mustela, Shiseido and more.

I hope to give back to the film making community by sharing my experiences, challenges and successes to pass on things I’ve learned along the way. So in addition to being available for new projects, I’m available for remote mentorships and other educational outlets.

Filming has given me the opportunity to shoot around the US (from NYC to LA, WA to AZ), and the EU (Portugal, France, Greece) and England and Scotland. I’m always looking for more places to go and more things to do.

In addition to being a freelance cinematographer, I’m the founder of the ad agency Storyboard Media Group in the NYC-metro area.
